Most land clearing and brush jobs are scheduled and completed within a short window. We will give you a realistic timeline when you give us a call.
We work through the Maine seasons. Spring through fall is our busiest time, but we take jobs year-round when ground conditions allow.
We come out, walk the property with you, and give you a straight number before any work begins. No obligation.
We work for homeowners, farmers, landowners, and contractors. Job size varies. Call us to see if your project is a good fit.
We carry liability insurance. Ask us for documentation if your job or property requires it.
We clear land for building sites, pasture reclamation, access roads, and fence lines. Our forestry mulching equipment grinds brush, saplings, and small trees in place rather than hauling debris off-site, which means less ground disturbance and no dump fees. We work on properties throughout Penobscot County and surrounding areas.
Forestry mulching uses a single machine to cut, grind, and spread vegetation in one pass. There is no burning, no hauling, and no separate stump grinding required. The mulch layer that stays behind holds topsoil in place and breaks down over a season or two. It is one of the more practical methods for Maine terrain, where rocky ground and tight access limit what heavier equipment can do.
A few seasons without attention and a field edge becomes a wall of alders, hawthorn, and poplar saplings. We cut and clear brush on roadsides, field perimeters, property boundaries, and around outbuildings and stone walls. We can work selectively around trees you want to keep, and we can set up recurring maintenance if you want to stay ahead of regrowth.
A gravel driveway that sheds water properly does not need much attention. One that does not will washboard, develop ruts, and pool water near your foundation. We grade and re-crown driveways to restore drainage and even out the surface after frost heave and seasonal wear. We can add or redistribute gravel in the same visit when the base needs it.
Horse fencing has to be visible, strong, and safe. We install fencing for pastures, paddocks, and run-in areas throughout central Maine. Before any posts go in, we walk the fence line to account for terrain changes, wet areas, and corner placement, all of which affect how a fence performs over time. We will tell you upfront if a stretch of ground needs extra work.
We remove trees that are dead, storm-damaged, leaning toward a structure, or in the way of a project. When a straight fall is not safe, we work in sections. Once the tree is down, we limb it out and chip, cut to rounds, or haul the material depending on what you want done with it. We serve Penobscot County and surrounding areas.
